pdfNest demo
This page provides all practical information to get you going with callas pdfNest. It provides a list of what you should have already received from callas, or need to request before you can get started for real.
Getting started
callas pdfNest is a SaaS nesting and ganging calculation engine. It supports operations such as:
- Calculating the ideal number of roll segments or sheets,
- Fitting the maximum number of jobs on a roll or sheet,
- Positioning, rotation, distance between items, imposition block alignment, trimming…
pdfNest never requires jobs to be uploaded; instead, the input to pdfNest is a JSON file that describes the jobs. Additionally (and optionally) cut contour information can be supplied using SVG files (in the JSON file or linked through a URL pdfNest can access). The output from pdfNest is a result JSON that contains the results of the calculation.
